Additional Information: | Resurveyed April 2014; changes include the addition of new vinyl siding in some areas and the removal of the front entrance and front steps with the relocation of the primary entrance to the side of the building. 2014- "This 2-story Side Gabled house was constructed c.1915. It is rectangular in plan with vinyl siding and an asphalt-shingled gable roof. The front elevation faces north and is asymmetrical in plan due to the construction of a garage addition off of the east elevation. The façade of the main building mass contains a hipped-roof porch that has been entirely enclosed by single-pane, fixed-sash windows and banks of picture windows with hopper windows below. Above this is a large wall dormer containing a picture window flanked by two single-pane casement windows. The garage contains a 2-bay overhead door and a front-gabled dormer containing pair of single-pane casement windows. Originally located in the north (front) elevation, the entrance has been relocated to the west elevation to facilitate the building’s new use as a coffee shop." -"STH 42: Bluff Lane (Gibraltar) to Country Walk Dr (Sister Bay), WisDOT#4140-19-00, Prepared by Gail Klein, (2014). |
