Additional Information: | This clapboard clad duplex appears to be a twon story variation of the vernacular square plan/hipped roof house more commonly seen as one story. It is devoid of ornament other than the drip-moulds over the lintels and the entry door with side and transom lights. Both paired and single windows are used in both upper and lower levels and are decorated with false blinds at the lower level. This larger, plain residential structure is of some architectural interest as an example of a variation of a common local style. |
