Additional Information: | This appears to be a simple, two-story, cream brick cottage with a larger addition built to the rear. A new porch protects the entry which is in the newer, rear addition. This substantially modified building is of some architectural interest because of the detailing of its brickwork window caps. A double row lock of brick forming a stilted, segmental arch brought out from the wall by corbeling. Thus appears to be a common vernacular detail in the City. |
