Additional Information: | This single-story house shows the characteristics of the late Queen Anne style in its asymetry of massing and its simplicity of detail. Paired brackets at the central gable are the only bits of fancy-work that accent this small cottage. This neatly kept house is architecturally intact and contributes to the significance of the District as a relatively intact example of a once common local style. This house appears to have been constructed on the vacated right-of-way of N. Sixth Avenue, then Lincoln Street. |
