Additional Information: | This simple, two story house is of a vernacular style. A simple, gabled rectangle with minimal detailing. The facade is clad with rounded shingles, straight-cut shingles and clapboards. A contemporary porch at the entry probably replaced a wider one that is locally common with this type of house. Because of its residential character and remaining textural detail, and despite the modifications to the porch, this building does contribute to the architectural significance of the District. This site does not appear on Sanborn Perris Maps until 1911. |
