Additional Information: | This simply detailed, gable-fronted vernacular style house has been clad with asbestos siding thus hiding much of the textural detail. Teh pairing of windows suggests a turn-of-the century date of construction although remodeling work may have taken place when the siding was applied. A wrap-around porch is another architectural feature but the enclosing of the railing and cladding with siding hides any characteristic detail here. Also only the residential character of this building contributes to the architectural significance of the District. |
