Additional Information: | This severely plain, two-story, clapboard sided house is a tri-gabled "ell" version of the local vernacular style. The only attempt at decorative detail is the application of false blinds which may not be original. A broad porch fills the void between the legs of the ell and is supported by large fluted columns. The railing and the balusters rae quite plain. The porch may not be original to the building in its present configuration. A well-maintained example of a common style within the District, this building contributes positively to the architectural significance of the District. |
