Additional Information:First a hotel then a funeral parlor, this brick building was entirely remodeled for the latter use in 1939. At that time the exterior was veneered with buff colored limestone set as uncoursed ashlar and accented with red brick sill and lintel line courses and red brick diamonds at the parapet. This builidng is of some architectural interest as an example of the vernacular moderne style as shown in the remodeling.
