Additional Information: | This two story, frame American Foursquare house features a square shaped plan configuration, a concrete block foundation, an aluminum sided exterior, a wood trim and an asphalt shingled low pitched hip roof. Similar in design to this roof is a low pitched hip roof dormer. The front porch, also hip roofed, is supported by short tapered posts on aluminum sided bases. The residence, which is in good condition, was owned by Steven A. Loveland in 1982. According to the 1982 Intensive Survey form, this dwelling was considered to be non-contributing to what was at the time a potential historic district. The Charles R. Ocheltree House was built in c. 1925. (See Bib. Ref. A). See the District Survey Form for a historical statement. |
