Gerhart Miller removed the front porch in 1929 and moved the front entrance. In the 1940s a bay was added as well as a new kitchen. Between 1984 and 1989 a dormer was added, as was a 5'x8' entry, deck and the kitchen was changed again. Between 1998 and 1999 a front porch was added as were the front dormers and the basement was extended 5'.

This small 1 1/2 story house is rectangular in plan with a central, gabled entry wing extending to the front. Clad with clapboard, the most interesting features are the broad eaves which are supported at the building corners with scrollsawn brackets which are themselves embellished with turned drop-finials. Smaller brackets support the window caps. A central arched window (which has been replaced) originally accented the central gable while the flanking lower level windows of the primary facade have transoms of leaded, beveled glass. The porch and handrail appear to be newer and probably replaced an earlier and complementarily ornate original porch.
