Additional Information: | This late Queen Anne style house is clad with clapboard--wider at the lower level than on teh upper. The lower level forms a chamfered bay beneath the second level. This form is complemented by a wraparound porch covering the entry and extendin goutward to form an open, circular deck off the corner of the building. Metal awnings have been added as have "cross buck" balustrades both on the porch and on the deck above. Despite these modifications, this building is of some architectural interest as an example of a once common local style. |
