Additional Information: | This 1 1/2 story, painted brick house is rectangular in plan with the gable end to the street and the entry on the west side. The five windows this gable end are ornately detailed with a running window cap consisting of stilted segmental arches of brickwork, joined at a band of projecting and angle-set brick. Cast-or cut-stone keystones accent the arches. This motif is repeated in a belt course at the intermediate floor line and in an implied lunette at the gable peak. The side entry appears to have been constructed during the popularity of the craftsman style and hsa been recently enclosed. This building is of architecturla itnerest because of htis ornate detailing which is unique on a residential building within the city. |
