Additional Information: THIS ONE AND A HALF-STORY HOUSE IS DESIGNED WITH A RECTANGULAR-SHAPED PLAN CONFIGURATION, AN ASBESTOS SHINGLED EXTERIOR AND A WIDE, GABLED ROOF. THE BUILDING RESTS UPON A RAISED FOUNDATION. BUILT IN C. 1840, THIS DWELLING IS IN GOOD CONDITION OVERALL. (SEE BIB. REF. B). HISTORICAL BACKGROUND: ACCORDING TO A LOCAL HISTORIAN, THIS RESIDENCE (OR A PART OF IT) WAS BUILT BY HENRY DODGE'S SON, HENRY L. DODGE WHO DIED IN 1857. (SEE BIB. REF. A).
