POINTED ARCHED DOORWAY. Coursed sandstone block main facade. Rear and side elevations are rubblestone construction. Highly intact.

The first school on this site was a frame building built between 1855 and 1861. The current school was built between 1870 and 1881 according to Dane County Superintendent of Schools reports.

First used as a district school, then, in 1934, was used as a classroom by the St. Norbert School until 1937, when the new expanded St. Norbert school was ready. Subsequently served as the Town of Roxbury Town Hall.
