Additional Information: | Clapboard is the exterior fabric on this 1 1/2 story bungalow. The steep pitched gable roof hsa the eave facing the road. There is a 3-bay window. There are exposed rafters under the winde eaves. Side windows are irregularly placed. The foundation is concrete wash. The plan is rectangular with rear additions. The full front porch is enclosed and has a shed roof. The 1-story garage has clapboard exterior fabric, exposed rafters and endboards. The plan is rectangular and the gable roof has the gable end facing the road. See SC 30-18 for photo. This residence and garage has retained most of it's integrity and is a good example of the bungalow style. It does not appear to possess any outstanding characteristics that would give it architectural significance at this time. |
