Additional Information: | This two story four square style residence is the only house in New Richmond with rock-faced exterior fabric. The hip roof has gable roof wall dormers. The roof has a box cornice. There are stone window sills and heads. A water line of stone is above the basement. The gables have triangular shaped fishscales and square windows with entablature heads. Windows are irregularly placed and are aluminum 1/1. A side entry is on the west. The one story full front porch has been enclosed with wood and 1/1 aluminum windows. The porch roof is flat with a box cornice. The foundation has rock faced supports with wood lattice work between. Althogh this house is interesting as the only rock faced house in the city, it has no outstajnding architectural features that would give it significance. The window and porch alterations have diminished its integrity somewhat./ |
