SEGMENTAL ARCHED WINDOWS. Previously surveyed in 1980. Addition built in the el. 1993- "This is a two story, brick, gabled el structure. Rising from a stone foundation, the house has windowhoods, as well as segmental arches over those hoods. A rather major integrity issue arises for this building due to the large, very unsympathetic addition that was built in the el. This house was not identified in the Town of Roxbury/St. Norbert's grant proposal. It is, however, owned by the Herbrand family, a family identified in St. Norbert's 1971 history as one of the early Roxbury families." - "USH 12, Sauk City to Middleton", WisDOT ID #5300-03-01, Prepared by John N Vogel, PhD (1993). |
