Additional Information: | THIS TWO-STORY HOUSE FEATURES AN L-SHAPED PLAN CONFIGURATION, A CUT STONE FOUNDATION, A CLAPBOARD EXTERIOR, SHINGLE TRIM AND A GABLE ROOF. CHAMFERED CORNERS CREATE A TWO STORY BAY WINDOW, WHICH APPEARS ON ONE GABLE END. SHINGLES NOT ONLY ADORN THE UPPER PORTION OF THE FRONT-FACING, OPEN GABLE END, BUT ALSO ARE USED IN A BAND TO SEPARATE THE FIRST AND SECOND FLOORS. PROMINENT WINDOW MOLDINGS DISPLAY CLASSICAL MOTIFS, AND A SMALL FRONT ENTRANCE PORCH IS SUPPORTED BY TURNED POSTS. THIS RESIDENCE, BUILT IN C. 1890 (SEE BIB. REF. A), IS CONSIDERED TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION. |
