NOTES
Additional Information: THIS TINY, ONE-STORY HOUSE FEATURES A RECTANGULAR-SHAPED PLAN CONFIGURATION, A CUT STONE FOUNDATION, A CLAPBOARD EXTERIOR AND A GABLE ROOF. WINDOW MOLDINGS AND DOOR MOLDINGS APPEAR IN THE DESIGN AS DO CORNER BOARDS AND FRIEZE BOARDS. ADDITIONS TO THE REAR WERE MADE PRIOR TO THE RESIDENCE'S ORIGINAL DATE OF CONSTRUCTION, WHICH OCCURRED IN C. 1850. (SEE BIB. REF. A). DURING THAT TIME, THE HOUSE PROBABLY SERVED AS A MINER'S COTTAGE. PRESENTLY, IT IS IN GOOD CONDITION. ALSO LOCATED ON THE SITE IS A SHED; HOWEVER, THERE IS NO CORRESPONDING INTENSIVE SURVEY DESCRIBING THIS PARTICULAR STRUCTURE.
