Additional Information: | Fine English parish style Neo-Gothic church with cut stone walls and trim throughout. Nave and transept has stepped cut stone buttresses having stone gablets flanking the windows. The windows on the sides of the nave have pointed arches while those on the transept have flat arches. The main entrance to the church on the west facing facade of the nave has corner buttresses and two buttresses flanking the segmental arch double entrance door opening. There is an incised relief stone panel over the entrance doors and above this is a large pointed arch stained glass window with three cinquefoil arch windows with quatrefoil bar tracery above. There is an attached gable roof chapel facing onto Shawano Avenue at the eastern end of the church which may predate the main building. It is also completely of stone with a gable roof and a gable roof entrance porch. Green Bay Intensive Survey Phases 2, 3 & 4 |
