Additional Information: | POLYGONAL TURRET W/ PAVILION ROOF ON CNR OVER ENTRY. BARGE BOARDS IN GABLE ENDS. Built in 1880s for Woodward as a general store. In 1898 the Morrisonville post office was moved into the building. In 1909, the building was purchased by Fred Dieruf and it served as the post office for a number of years thereafter. 2020: Resurveyed - altered appearance. Substantially altered commerical building; Dutch gable with lower pediment above bracketed cornice; corner oriel tower with pyramidal roof; pediment on primary façade; 1/1 vinyl replacement windows; vinyl replacement siding. |
