NOTES
Additional Information:A well preserved example of a common style, this Queen Anne residence incorporates many characteristic features, such as, two story octagonal bays, shingled and bracketed gable ends, corner boards and other stick decoration, and a columned and pedimented porch. George W. Smith acquired the lots in 1895 for $250. There were no buildings on the property at that time. City tax records indicate that a home was constructed on the property in 1905. The people who bought the property from the Smiths in 1909, immediately took out a mortgage on the house.
