NOTES
Additional Information:This is a plain 2-story commercial building with a pressed-metal cornice decorated with dentils and a later-addition wooden porch. Aluminum windows cover window openings, along with modern "storm" doors. The red brick is in excellent condition, and although the building is a very simple commercial structure, it is an attractive addition to the Main Street Historic District.

In 1932 the structure housed offices on the first floor and the telephone exchange on the second floor. The building was erected in 2925 by Dr. Eben D. Pierce, who used it as his office. In 1918, Pierce was instrumental in the establishment of Perrot State Park. He was a member an ducrator of the Wisconsin Historical Society, the Archeaological Society of Wisconsin, the Mississippi Valley Historical Association, and the American Historical Association.

Ristow Insurance was in the building in 1981.

2020: A new two-story porch as been added.
