Additional Information:NAER INVENTORY (06/1981): The Van Thull Bakery first opened its doors in the year 1913 on N. Main St. Anton Van Thull was proprietor and baker. They moved to the present location in 1920. Expansion took place in the business with the growth of the community. Home delivery of bakery started about 1930 - to Kimberly and neighboring towns. The business has always remained in the family. After the death of Anton Van Thull, his widow, Evelyn, carried on the business until 1959, when her son Robert took over. The original bakery has a gabled roof, boom town facade, stone foundation and wooden exterior walls.
