This single story, front gabled shed is immediately adjacent to the north side of the upstream gate, and is used as the locktender's station. Clad with asphalt shingles and roofed with asphalt shingles, it is built on a cement slab. It has a plain roof cornice and a metal smokestack protruding from the upstream roof slope. The door and single window in each sidewall have plain surrounds. THIS BUILDING IS RELATED TO THE LOCK AND THE LOCKKEEPER'S HOUSE. |
