Additional Information:A building is first indicated on this property in 1901. Frank Krause owned the 40-acre parcel and house. Krause (b. 1850) immigrated to the U.S. from Germany, married Rosa, and had 11 children. The 1930 map indicates Krause as the property owner. The 1956 map indicates John Szemborski as the owner. The property remains in the ownership of the Szemborski family. The house has a stone foundation. The main facade faces north; a gabled cellar entrance extends from the west-facing facade and is built of rock-faced stone.
