NOTES
Additional Information:THIS TWO-STORY, ITALIANATE HOUSE FEATURES A SQUARE SHAPED PLAN CONFIGURATION. THE ADDITIONS MADE TO THIS RESIDENCE ARE APPARENT IN THE PHOTO (IA21/35) BY THE NOTICABLE CHANGE IN THE FOUNDATION MATERIAL. THE FOUNDATION IS STONE IN SOME PLACES AND CONCRETE BLOCK IN OTHERS. CLAPBOARD SIDING COVERS THE EXTERIOR WALLS AND A WOOD TRIM ACCENTS THE WINDOWS AND DOORS. THE ASPHALT-SHINGLED ROOF DEMONSTRATES A COMBINATION OF FORMS; THE TRUNCATED HIP ROOF HAS FLARED EAVES, AND THE GABLE ROOFED WING HAS A SHED ROOFED ADDITION. A TWO-SIDED PORCH, DESIGNED WITH ITS TURNED POSTS AND DECORATIVE BRACKETS, SHELTERS THE ENTRANCE. THIS DWELLING, BUILT IN C. 1855 (SEE BIB. REF. F), IS IN GOOD CONDITION. (SEE ALSO RELATED BUILDING LOCATED AT 502A ALICE STREET, IA21/34).
