Additional Information: | 2013 This two-story vernacular house was built c.1920. It is of frame construction, clad in stucco, and has an irregular plan. It also has an irregular roof, with a very steeply pitched front gable intersected with two dormers, one with a hip roof and the other with a clipped side gable. A large, brick double chimney made of brick is at the center. The main (east) facade has a raised porch entrance covered by a steeply pitched hip roof supported by three wooden columns on either side. Windows are situated together in groups of two, three, and four and are predominantly six-over-six, double-hung sash. This is a small yet distinctive home of French chalet design. The small entranceway has a steeply pitched roof. |
