Additional Information: | This two-story American Foursquare house has a hipped roof with projecting dormers, narrow clapboard siding, and a fine, high, fieldstone foundation. Fieldstone walls also support the front porch with grouped round columns and a shallow hip roof. A massive fieldstone chimney projects from the west wall. This house is a good example of a simple variation of the American Foursquare style. This was the home of Ida and George Wisnom between 1909 and 1924. George Wisnom was a salesman. Initial research indicates that the occupants of this house are not historically significant. |
