NOTES
Additional Information:This two-story house is constructed of brick and has a low-pitched hip roof. The main entrance is dominated by a frontispiece of Ionic columns supporting an entablature with a balconet. The entry sits under a round arch reveal. Stone round arch reveals decorate the first story windows on the front facade. A small piazza with a balustrade of turned posts sits in front of the main entrance.

This house is architecturally significant as a good example of the Mediterranean Revival style. The brick exterior, stone frontispiece and window decoration are all details compatible with the style. The house is well preserved and is distinctive in the proposed East Division Street Historic District.

This house was the home of Maurice and Amanda West between 1926 and 1942. Maurice West was an executive of the Galloway-West Company, a dairy products processing company that is one of Fond du Lac's most important twentieth century industries.
