Additional Information: | This two-story American Foursquare house has a hip roof with wide, flared eaves and matching dormers. The house has a clapboard exterior with six-over-one light sashes. The front porch features square columns on brick piers, a plain balustrade, and a pediment decorating the entrance. This house is a good example of a simple variation of the American Foursquare form. This was the home of Harvey and Julia Dodd 1909 and 1942. Harvey Dodd was the president of the Fond du Lac Steam Laundry. Initial research indicates that the occupants of this house are not historically significant. |
