Additional Information: | POLYGONAL TOWER ON CNRWOOD SHINGLES AND BARGE BOARDS IN GABLE 2018: This two-and-one-half-story Queen Anne-style house was constructed c.1890. It is asymmetrical in massing with a polygonal corner tower opposite a large pedimented front gable on the facade. The exterior is mostly clad in aluminum siding, with wood shingles in the pedimented front gable and on the top half story of the tower. The pedimeted gable is further accentuated by spindlework in the gable peak. Across the façade is an open front porch with a flat roof supported by Tuscan order columns. The façade also features a two-story canted bay. Most of the house’s windows are placement one-over-one sashes, though wood, diamond-pane sash windows remain in the pedimented gable and top story of the tower. |
