Additional Information: | RECTANGULAR TOWER W/ STEEP HIPPED ROOF ON CNR 2018 - This two-story Queen Anne style residence was constructed c.1900. The building is asymmetrical in massing with a square corner tower and a cross-gabled roof. The front entrance is in the corner tower and includes an open porch with a small central pediment. The porch appears to have been constructed, or reconstructed, in recent years. The full-height front and side gable bays are canted and include replacement sash windows on the first and second stories. Small diamond-pane sash windows remain in the gables and on the top story of the tower. Apart from the concrete block base of the porch, the house sits on a stone foundation with grapevine mortar. Walls are mostly clad in vinyl siding apart from wood shingles in the gables. Previously, the entire house was clad in wood shingles. |
