NOTES
Additional Information:This simple two story Commercial Vernacular building is constructed of bricks that are painted. The building has a plain metal cornice and three very tall upper floors windows. The glazing is two over two light double hung sashes. The windows are decorated with segmental brick arches and stone sills. The first floor has a nearly intact historic storefront. The transom is enclosed with a decorative pressed metal panel with the name of the current occupant of the building in small lettering. The building has a large show window in front and on the side, a paneled apron, casst iron columns, and a recessed entrance covered with a modern awning.

This building is a fine and intact example of the commercial Vernacular style of architecture. The simple details suggest no particular high style, but are well done and expertly rehabilitated. Fond du Lac's downtown has few such fine historic storefronts extant.

The original occupant of this building was Fred Krumme, who operated a drug store here between 1884 and 1900. Francis Masilko took over the drug store and operated it here until around 1950.

This building has some historical interest because it housed two long time drug stores.
