NOTES
Additional Information:This two story commercial vernacular building is constructed of bricks that have been painted white. The building has an elaborate brick cornice consisting of rows of corbelling suggesting brackets over a row of pointed arches. The segmentally arched windows of the second floor have unusual label moldings and corbels. Under the windows are rectangular cut out panels. The first floor has been remodeled with modern show windows and aggregate panels over the transom and making up the apron of the buiding.

It is, though, an interesting example of the commercial vernacular style.

The earliest business in this building was a clothing store which operated until the turn of the century. Between 1908 and 1940, J.F. Wegner operated a hardware store in this building.
