Additional Information: | This two story commercial vernacular building is constructed of painted bricks. It has a simple metal cornice and several rows of corbels topping recessed brick pantels. The openings on the second floor are filed in with modern tinted glass. They are decorated with segmental arches. The modern storefront has a large aggregate panel covering the transom with attached signage. This building has some architectural interest as a simple example of the commercial vernacular style of architecture. This building was the home of the W. & J.E. Mason Crockery and China shop between 1892 and 1921. This building has some historical interest because of the commercial activity that took place there during the historic period. |
