Additional Information: | Photo code #2: 74FD-25/23. This simple two story Greek Revival house has a low pitched gable roof with a wide frieze and returned eaves. The house is covered with clapboards and has regular fenestration of double hung sashes, some with multi lights. The entrance is covered with a later added porch of turned posts, spool and spindle frieze, nad plain balustrade. The simple rectangular buiding, with returned eaves and regular fenestration is typical of the way most Greek Revival houses were built in Wisconsin. Because of these details, the house is significant. |
