Additional Information: | This two-story Italianate has a low-pitched hip roof, wide overhanging eaves decorated with brackets, asbestos siding, tall, narrow windows, a square bay, and a front porch with square posts. A slightly small, two-story ell projects off of the rear of the house. This house is a good example of a simple variation of the Italianate style. This was the home of George and Emeline Perkins between 1880 and 1940. George Perkins was a pioneer attorney and a judge in Fond du Lac. Initial research indicates that the occupants of this house are not historically significant. |
