Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. LANCET WINDOWS W/KEYSTONES. School addition added in 1971. Attached by a small hyphen. In 1850, seven German Methodists began holding meetings in their homes until they purchased a building erected by the Congregational society in 1864. They used this building until the completion of their new church in November, 1874. In 1920, the present Lutheran congregation bought the building. Built using hand-wrought stone blocks from nearby quarry.
