NOTES
Additional Information:This two story house features elements characteristic of the gabled ell and Queen Anne styles. The building was constructed with an L-shaped plan configuration, a stucco foundation, a clapboard exterior, a wood trim and an shingled multi-gabled roof. Fishscale shingles distinguish the open gable ends, the front one of which also contains a small attic story gable window which is crowned by a wooden lintel and accented by a sunburst motif. A denticulated cornice runs the full length of not only the facade in the second story, but also on the pedimented gable end at the side elevation. Projecting forward on the front is a two story porch, whose lower portion is open and whose upper portion is enclosed. The lower portion of this porch is accented by short Tuscan columns resting on wooden bases. The porch railing has a distinctive latticework design which is echoed in the porch base as well. A rear addition has an open styled south side porch with a roof supported by turned columns. Frieze boards, corner boards, and projecting wooden flat arched lintels are other architectural elements found on the dwelling. The residence is in good condition.

Individuals associated with this house and the dates of their associations include the following: George Hill, in c. 1900 and N. Yoemons, from c. 1924 to c. 1936. (See Bib. Ref. A).
