Additional Information: | This two-story house has a steeply-pitched jerkinhead gable roof with wide eaves and exposed rafters. The exterior is stuccoed and there is applied limestone on the first story and as a frontispiece. The windows are largely single lights with divided upper lights. The large limestone frontispiece consists of a parapet with buttresses. The entrance sits in a round arch. This house is a good example of a simple variation of the Tudor Revival style. This house was the home of Theodore and Theresa Edernau between 1915 and 1942. Theodore Edernau was a bank cashier and business executive. Initial research indicates that the occupants of this house are not historically significant. |
