Catalog house, "The Elmwood" pattern. Listed 9/15/1998 on the Marshfield Municipal Register of Historic Places.

"Builtin 1914, this Bungalow, designed in the Craftsman style, was an Elmwood/Sunbeam model, ordered from the Sears Roebuck & Company Modern Home Catalog by August and Margaret Maslof, who moved to Marshfield after their marriage in 1913. The originality of the home remains largely unchanged, which includes a mission-style, built-in cabinet in the dining area, a features of Sears built homes. The home also has five rooms and three porches - one open and two enclosed - with 1,155 square feet of living space. Mr. Maslof worked for the North Western and Omaha Railroad, was the President of the Marshfield Local Brotherhood of Carmen Lodge, and served as Supervisor for the First Ward starting in 1932."
