Additional Information:Later additions have been added to the rear of this early brick gabled ell form house. For many years this building was used as the American Hotel and the additions to the rear probably reflect this usage. From 1884 until at least 1950 the building belonged to the Jacob Stricker family and his descendents, one of whom, Dr. M.F. Stricker, used the building for his office.
