NOTES
Additional Information:2016- "This Bungalow house was constructed circa 1920. It is rectangular in plan with a concrete block foundation, brick walls, and a metal, side gabled roof that extends forward to cover the front porch. The front elevation faces west and is symmetrical in plan, with a central hipped roof dormer above the porch, which spans the entire width of the house. The door is centered in the front fagade, with pairs of two 1-over-1 double hung windows on either side. Brick piers topped with slightly-tapering square wooden posts support the porch. The central dormer is clad in clapboards and contains a bay of three 1-over-1 double hung windows. The house features decorative brickwork in the form of soldier brick course above the first and second story windows, as well as carved wooden brackets in the eaves of the gable ends. Windows throughout appear to be replacements, as is the roof, which has been re-clad in faux-shake metal tiles. The decorative concrete blocks that served as the screen underneath the porch have been replaced with a plastic screen since the house was last surveyed."
-"USH, Pitzen Ln to Hickory Ln", WisDOT#1650-07-02, Prepared by UWM-CRM, (2016).

1995- "Brown and red vermiform brick, bungalow-style, single-family residence with side gable roof extending forward to cover the front porch. Rusticated concrete block foundation; one-over-one windows, vinyl or aluminum siding on front dormer, which has a gherkin-headed gable roof, interesting brackets with Colonial style pendentives decorate side gables, Dutch-lap roofing. Porch has tall brick piers with short tapered wooden columns; wooden railing is simple and heavier than normal with wide vertical balusters. The center bay of the porch has a short length of railing that ends with a heavy square newel post.

The history of this house is unknown.

This house is probably the most intact and most architecturally interesting house remaining in Dickeyville, a small village which has seen most of its houses extensively remodelled. It may very well be a pattern-book or mail order house. In a larger town, however, it would probably not be of sufficient architectural significance to warrant listing on the National Register."
