It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation. ARCHED ENTRYS. The original part of the Collegiate Gothic section overlooks Mendota Drive and was constructed in 1937. Additions were made to the west facing (rear) facade in 1940, 1948, and 1950, completing the two story block. in 1991-2, a two story elevator tower was appended to the north-facing (Nichols Road) facade of the two-story block. In 1954, the first part of the Contemporary section was attached to the south-facing facade of the two-story block. In 1955, a classroom addition was appended to the rear facade of the 1954 section, forming a one-story ell. The gymnasium section was tucked into the ell on the rear facade in 1956. |
