Stories are distinguished by a continuous molding. Interior is in fine restored condition. Garage and addition. City directory confirms Hartley's occupation of the home in 1893. Hartley was the assistant supervisor of the Ashland Division of the Chicago & North Western Railroad. Additional tenants in 1893 include Timothy Coughlin, a dispatcher for the Chicago & North Western railroad, as well as Mary Nicolson, a clerk. Hartley died in 1903. |
