NOTES
Additional Information:A large three story former queen Anne house with shingled front gable, a hip roof side bay and rear extension.

The lot was purchased by Edward F. Gleason on 17 March 1903 (79/216, #18629) and it is believed that he built the house for rental purposes; as of 1905, the house was rented by attorney William Slattery who, soonthereafter, moved to Portland, Oregon. The house was in possession (by name only) to Edward F. Gleason's infant son, who sold it to John Berg in 1912 (105/4, #40863).
Bibliographic References:Warranty Deeds City Directories A permit on file at the City of Ashland, dated 17 February 1940, cites "remodel frame residence" at a cost of $4,000. Hanson Nystrom's name is on the permit.
