Additional Information: | BAY ON 2ND STORY FRONT. HOUSE HAS BEEN RESIDED IN VINYL BETWEEN 1977 AND 2008. 2008- "This previously surveyed two-story-tall Queen Anne style house was probably built ca.1900 and it has an essentially rectilinear plan, its original clapboard-clad exterior walls are now clad in vinyl, and these walls are sheltered by the house's gable roof. The main facade faces south onto E. Main St. and the first story of the fagade is sheltered by a fullwidth flat-roofed open porch that is probably original to the house but the porch's spindled balustrade is a later addition. A polygonal two-and-one-half-story-tall bay is placed on the main fagade and a one-story-tall oriel bay is located on the west-facing side elevation. In addition, some of the house's original windows have also now been replaced with modern ones." -"Waunakee 7.5 Quad", WisDOT#5290-01-02, Prepared by Timothy F. Heggland, (2008). |
