NOTES
Additional Information:STAMPED METAL SIDING ON FRONT IN 1977 HAS NOW EITHER BEEN REMOVED OR COVERED OVER WITH VERTICAL ALUMINUM SIDING. FIRST STORY STOREFRONTS AND SIDE ELEVATIONS NOW (2008)TOTALLY ALTERED AND THERE IS A LARGE MODERN ADDITON ATTACHED TO THE REAR OF THE BUILDING.

2008- "This previously surveyed Boomtown style commercial building actually consists of two historic rectilinear plan two-story tall Boomtown style commercial buildings that were both probably built in the 1880s or 1890s and which are located side by side and have main facades that face south onto W. Main St. The original appearance of these buildings is conjectural but both of their original storefronts have now been replaced by modern ones, a modern pent roof placed just above these storefronts now spans the full width of both facades, and the upper portions of these facades have now been covered over with vertical aluminum or vinyl cladding. In addition, the side elevations of the buildings have been covered over with stucco-covered panels, the seams of which are covered in dark stained wood strips in imitation of half-timber work, and a very large new two-story addition has now been added across the entire rear of the conjoined buildings."
