Additional Information: | WOOD SHINGLES AND BARGE BOARDS IN GABLES In a 1903 letter to Ida Ela, of Rochester, Sherman Booth said that during Joshua Glover's stay in the Spring Prairie area, Glover had been harbored by Samuel Pratt, who was a member of the Wisconsin Assembly. Pratt also belonged to the Spring Prairie Congregational church where the Arms brothers, Solomon Dwinnell, and Richard Chernery were members. Another account said that Glover had stayed at David Pratt's farm. David, Samuel's brother, owned a farm in the next section west of where Samuel's farm was located. |
